I hope to talk to many of you personally about this soon, but I figured why not post a message about it... Right now, it looks like many families will have to make hard decisions. Their houses and their jobs could be available within the month. That would mean that it is time to go home, right? Well, slight problem, a majority of the schools that our children attend will not repoen for a full year. What to do? Well, frankly, I'm not sure. But, we want to do our best to provide an option. We are thinking of some type of hybrid between homeschooling and a Christian school. We are willing to spend some money and provide our facilities if we can find a viable program that will enable your children to get an education. We don't want families to have to split up for the next nine months (mom and kids living in another town so that kids can go to school). Anyway, one option we are exploring is called BJ LINC. You can get some info from their website. Here is the link: www.bjup.com/services/bjlinc/So here are a couple of questions for you: -If we provided such a program, would you consider using it? -Do you know of any other options? -What ideas do you have? Post away...

I have contacted a friend in Illinois with connections to the BJ link program to help me with some preliminaries so we hope to have some information soon on how to set up a temporary Christian"School" via satellite at our church, if that's what the Lord wants us to do and we have enough need for it. Not sure it would all work out but there are options available to us. Pray. It really is amazing to have the students connecting live with the teachers in the studios at BJU, through satellite and computers! We will keep everyone posted! Pastor Brad
