Joe starting at Emory University

Joe left this morning to go talk to the people at the Emory physics department. He's been emailing with the department head since last week and they've offered to let him take one of the classes he needs there - there's also a possibility that he can take a directed studies course with one of the theorists whose work he's interested in. He's been also talking to the director of graduate physics at Tulane and they're going to see if they can waive his last two course requirements and set it up so he can do his dissertation defense by conference call or something like that.

The local schools here are being awesome, really trying to help displaced students out. Yea!
