Berean Friends: With the disruption and potential for multiple relocations in the coming months, I thought I would share some information. We considered home schooling for our daughter Meghan several years ago, but found an alternative in Christa McAuliffe Academy. CMA is a fully accredited internet based school located in Washington State. We were very satisfied with their program, and Meghan graduated in 2004. Internet schooling is alot like homeschooling except the school does the curriculum selection and the learning process is done online, with teacher/mentor conducting a virtual classroom weekly where the student interact and present projects etc. online. I contacted the President to see if they could offer any special assistance to families impacted by Katrina - here is his reply: Thank you, Peter! I have been trying to think of ways we could help and this is certainly one. We will consider each family situation and respond according to need. It is good to hear from you and to know that Meghan is doing well! God Bless, Glen W. Blomgren Founder/CEO Christa McAuliffe Academy 402 E.
