Charlie and his parents went back to stay in Algiers on Wednesday. His parents in Bocage have power and phone. In English Turn and at the office on MacArthur we have only power. Some of the cell towers must be back up because we can talk to cell phones there, although not reliably. Gas and groceries are available in Avondale, and I heard that Carr Drugs is open in Gretna. Now if we could only get the schools up as Jefferson is doing for October. Katie and Emily and I are here in Shreveport. I have a part time job with a pediatric DDS, but will go back for part of the week to get the practice up and going in Algiers. The girls will stay with our good friends here. My parents will live with us in ET till their power is on in New Aurora. Things are certainly happening faster than predicted. God can certainly move mountains. Love, Laura
