St. Charles Parish- sometime next week St. Tammany Parish - October 3rd Jefferson Parish - October 3rd Orleans Parish (Out for the Year) St. Bernard Parish (Out for the Year) Plaquemines Parish (Out for the Year)
Private Schools: Brother Martin High School: Closed for the year * Catholic High School in Baton Rouge is opening its campus in the evening hours for Brother Martin students to attend then. Classes will begin on 9/19/05 at 3:45 to 9:30 PM- there is more info you can view on the website (www.wwl.com) Jesuit High School: May be opening 1/1/06, not sure at this moment Holy Cross: Had 5-8 ft. of water in building will rebuild not opening this year. Dominican: Closed this semester DeLasalle: Closed this semester Holy Cross College: Re-open Jan 2006
Of course I'm sure all of this information is subject to change but that is what the officials are saying at this moment.
Missing you all and praying for the day we are reunited. It's true the Lord gives us the strength to handle each day!

That October 3rd date keeps getting passed around for Jefferson Parish, but I have not been able to verify it. On the LA. Dept. of Education web site, it says that Jefferson Parish will be "several weeks to several months". It's St. Tammany and Bogalusa that says October. 3rd. If you have another source for information, would you post it please? THANKS! www.doe.state.la.us/lde/index.htmlMargaret
